What is Smart?

There are many definitions and different feelings that people have about "smart".

In our work, we started from the comprehensive survey carried out by the Center for Regional Science at Vienna University (see opposite).

But, we found that we needed to include "design" as a foundational principle in order to effectively apply "smart" to festivals. See the visualisation below.
